J and J FM, its social networks, or advertising vehicles shall not be used as a platform to defame, degrade, criticize, or otherwise air personal grievances in regard to J and J fellow staff, volunteers, associates, and/or listeners.

J and J FM, its social networks, or advertising vehicles may not be used to share private information deemed of a personal nature about J and J fellow staff, volunteers, associates, and/or listeners.

Applicants to J and J FM staff wishing to be considered as potential DJ’s for J and J FM shall complete an introductory interview with the owner or his designee, present at least a 3 minute recording that can be potentially broadcast, and complete all necessary forms and agreements.

Potential DJ’s should be willing to commit to a minimum of a 6 month relationship with J and J FM.

All J and J FM DJ’s shall own and control their own shows or excerpts of shows or samples of shows including content, concept, and broadcast; however, all shows and excerpts of shows played on J and J FM may be re-broadcast at the owner’s sole discretion and any simulcast must contain the J and J FM branding and promotions and adhere to these rules as well according to the terms of the J and J FM license agreement with DJCmedia Network.

According to J and J FM stream licensing terms, playlists cannot be posted in any written or spoken form on social networks, email, or other advertising vehicles prior to a broadcast of a show; any designated requests by a listener cannot be pre-announced in any form, predetermined or shared in any form, or promised to be played at a specific time.

According to J and J FM stream licensing terms, no more than 2 songs in a row by the same artist or from the same CD or album or anthology may be played within a 3 hour period; no more than 3 songs by the same artist or from the same CD or album or anthology may be played within a 3 hour period.

According to J and J FM stream licensing terms, during live shows, all songs must be properly tagged in Winamp; recorded shows must be submitted with a monthly playlist in a format specified by J and J FM. Furthermore, recorded shows must be tagged with the unique show name, the date of broadcast, and name of the host so this will show up during broadcast properly.

Missing 3 routine shows consecutively or non-consecutively without communication with the owner directly in an accepted format: personal phone call or verbal exchange in person, email or text message, etc. may be grounds for termination or suspension of the relationship with J and J FM, its entities, social media, and advertising vehicles, pending review. These notifications should never be posted or announced publicly in any form without prior communication with the owner of J and J FM. The DJ should communicate on his or her own behalf unless this is absolutely impossible.

Announcement of or agreement to a termination or temporary suspension of the relationship between J and J FM or of its partners or related entities and any DJ, intern, or volunteer can be given by either party with at least a week’s (7 days) notice.

All drops, promos, commercials, clips, or other spoken recordings submitted for airplay on J and J FM will become its property and may be played at the discretion of J and J FM and its staff.

All drops, promos, commercials, clips, or other spoken recordings performed by children or minors under the age of 18 shall be released to J and J FM by the consent of his/her parent/ legal guardian and shall be aired separately and completely apart from any sexually explicit or objectionable material.

During each routine show, each DJ must play the required station ID each hour and 1 promo per hour promoting a show hosted by another DJ, rotating the promos so that every show promo is played equally on each show; .P.SA’s are optional. If a show host feels the show promo or format does not fit theirs, the show host may play the promo at the beginning or end of their actual show.

Each show host shall be required to play 4 minutes of designated ads per hour at a spot in their show specified and agreed upon with the station owner. Failure to play these ads will result in suspension of one show. Continuing failure to play these ads will result in the cancellation of one’s show.

Contests held by individual show hosts specific to his/her show will be conducted and managed by the show host. The administration and liability for these contest payouts, gift distribution, and determination of winners shall be solely the responsibility of the show host and not of J and J FM or its affiliates. Stationwide contests shall be administered by the Management Team and the station owner shall be responsible for payouts, gift distribution, and the determination of winners. Only stationwide contest promos will be in automation. Otherwise, individual contests specific to a show will be the sole responsibility of that show host.

J and J FM shall have its own Production Team designated by the station owner and production assignments will be allocated to the team at the sole discretion of the station owner.

J and J FM shall have its own management team to assist in station administration to be determined by the station owner.

Staff meetings will be held via conference call, skype, or other comparable medium monthly at a time specified by the J and J FM management team. Missing two staff meetings without communication shall result in the suspension of only one show. Missing 2 more staff meetings without communication will result in the loss of the current time slot without a new promo from the production team being created. Missing 2 more staff meetings without communication will result in the cancellation of your show. This is according to an agreement by current show hosts in June, 2013.

The DJCmedia Network, and therefore J and J FM, services may not be used to distribute adult or illegal material.

Show Hosts, volunteers and listeners agree that they shall defend, indemnify, save and hold the DJCmedia Network and J and J FM harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney’s fees asserted against the DJCmedia Network , its agents, its customers, officers and employees, or J and J FM, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sales, its agents, employees or assigns. Furthermore, all parties agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the DJCmedia Network and J and J FM against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with DJCmedia network or J and J FM; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; and (3) copyright infringement. DJCmedia network and J and J FM will not be liable for delays or failure in performance caused by acts of God, war, terrorism, strike, labor dispute, work stoppage, fire, act of government, or any other cause, whether similar or dissimilar, beyond our control.

DJCmedia network and J and J FM shall not be responsible for any damages you may personally suffer as a result of your relationship with us. DJCmedia network and J and J FM and J and J staff and volunteers make no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, no deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by DJCmedia network and its employees and j and J FM and its staff and volunteers.

DJCmedia network and J and J FM do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties any of your personally identifiable information. However, we may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

DJCmedia network and J and J FM are not liable to store any statistical data regarding servers, such as listener information. These listener statistics will be provided as a courteousy but cannot be guaranteed in any way, including but not limited to their availability, accuracy, or distribution.

DJCmedia network , and therefore J and J FM, reserves the right to restrict, alter, or modify rules, regulations, staff terms and conditions or terminate services at any time and without notice.
